The FTQP consortium

FTQP is a 5-year project funded by the Innovation Fund Denmark. Its consortium partners comprise of the Computer Science Department at Copenhagen University (DIKU), the Niels Bohr Institute (NBI), and industry partner Sparrow Quantum. 

About the FTQP project

Our Mission

The 'Fault-Tolerant Architectures for Quantum Computing with Photon Emitters' (FTQP) project will propel quantum hardware into the future with new fault-tolerant computing architectures centered around deterministic single-photon emitters.

Our Team

This partnership combines DIKU’s expertise in quantum error correction, NBI’s leadership in quantum photonic technology and theory, and Sparrow Quantum’s specialization in quantum photonic systems and commercialization.

Our Vision

FTQP offers a unique opportunity to enhance Denmark's role in advancing fault-tolerant quantum computing. Our collaborative efforts focus on both quantum hardware and computing architectures, aiming to realize scalable quantum computing solutions that position quantum photonics as a global frontrunner
